Template expressions schema reference

Schema reference for template expressions in Ravion module definitions, using << >> syntax to interpolate input, output, and context values into fields.

Template expressions

Fields marked templateable accept << expression >> template tokens.

• Block mode preserves the resolved type:

  timeout: << module.input.timeout >>
  

• Interpolation mode always produces a string:

  name: "prefix-<< module.input.env >>"
  

Supported operators: +, -, *, /, %, >, <, >=, <=, ==, !=, &&, ||, !.

Ternary: << condition ? trueVal : falseVal >>. Default fallback: << input.x || "fallback" >>.

Access: array[0], map["key"], map.key. Functions: len(), upper(), lower().

Available namespaces: module.input.*, stack.id, trigger.payload.{branch,commit,ref,repository,event,tag}.

Array spreads can insert an array expression into an array field:
